On June 30, the 2025 Dalian Literary and Art Circles “Three Tens” Award Ceremony and Outstanding Works Exhibition was successfully held at the Dalian People’s Culture Club. The event was co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Dalian Municipal Committee, the Dalian Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Dalian News Media Group, and Dalian Culture and Education Industry Group. It brought together more than 600 representatives from the city’s literary and art circles for an annual review of the year’s cultural and artistic achievements.
Zhang Jingxuan, Founder and Director of the Century Sound · World Music Culture Museum, was honored with the title of “Ten Influential Figures” for 2025 in recognition of his dedication and contributions to the field of music cultural heritage.
Over the years, Director Zhang Jingxuan has remained committed to his original aspiration: “Revitalizing China through culture, and conveying the Chinese dream through sound.” He has amassed a collection of tens of thousands of musical cultural treasures from both China and the West, building a distinctive professional music cultural heritage platform. At the same time, he has actively promoted aesthetic education, museum exhibitions, and cultural diplomacy, regularly organizing public welfare performances, educational lectures, cultural tourism integration activities, and international cultural exchange events. His efforts have contributed significantly to the branding of Dalian’s cultural and artistic scene and to Sino-foreign cultural exchanges, telling China’s story to the world.
This award is a high recognition from the Municipal Publicity Department, the Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the broader community of Director Zhang’s persistent work in cultural heritage, and also affirms the museum’s role in supporting Dalian’s urban cultural development. Looking ahead, under Director Zhang’s leadership, the World Music Culture Museum will continue to uphold its cultural mission, leverage its unique collections, and deepen its engagement in music heritage, aesthetic education, and international cultural exchange.
